HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THE BIG FAKE WEDDING
The Big Fake Wedding is a platform for exposure:

While we can’t promise bookings, we can promise exposure, and our goal is to equip you to take this exposure and turn it into business.

Self-market. Display your “featured vendor” badge on your website and share the fact that you were chosen for this event. Tag “The Big Fake Wedding” (#TheBigFakeWedding) and other vendors in Facebook and Instagram posts for a wider exposure base.
Do some couple-recruiting yourself. Use this as a way to start conversations and to set yourself apart from other vendors in your industry. Use the “golden tickets” we provide you with to invite a potential couple who wants to see you/your work in action!
Do your best work. As with anything, the more you put in, the more you get out. Be creative and take this chance to truly show off what you do.
Make friends. Networking with the vendors, the interns and the media contacts at The Cocktail Hour and at the event is KEY as these will be people who may refer you in the future!
Make people want to come see you at the Tunnel of Love. Offer a raffle or giveaway where you gather guests’ info. Give away free stuff. Be personable and memorable.
Use the lead list. Have an email ready with links and potentially a coupon or giveaway that you can send out as soon as you receive the lead list after the event. (*The lead list will only include information from those who opt-in, so you may wish to also collect information at the event at your Tunnel of Love table.)

Use the photos of your product/service at The Big Fake Wedding. Post these on your website, blog, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Tagging the photographers and other vendors will broaden your exposure base.
